There will be a workshop in Uppsala, Sweden on 10-12 January, 2024 on Pickering emulsions.
The objectives are to provide lectures on some topics that have not been covered previously and, importantly, to allow participants to present their work and discuss with others how they may further collaborate. Subjects will relate to commercial exploitation of characterization of emulsions, commercial applications of Pickering emulsions, and entrepeneurship. Participation will be a good opportunity to discuss the individual projects. There will be time for oral presentation of each project.
The Pickfood meeting will be arranged so that it should be possible to travel on the morning of 10 January and leave at lunch time on 12 January. It will follow on from the Nordic Soft Matter Scattering Meeting (NSSM) that will be held from 9 to 10 January. The first part of the afternoon of 10 January will be an optional ‘hands-on’, tutorial session on SasView (software for analysis of small-angle scattering data).

We recommend that you book travel and accommodation early. Hotels in the centre of Uppsala are convenient for the railway station and access to Stockholm Arlanda airport, as well as buses to the Ångström Laboratory where the workshop sessions will take place.
